Is a Clinical Trauma Specialist with 25+ years of experience providing mental health therapy and family support across community, crisis, and court-involved settings.
She is a Certified Master EMDR Specialist and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Play Therapy, Advanced Hypnotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), including holistic IFS parts and inner-child healing, alongside additional evidence-informed modalities. Dr. Cindy supports children (ages 3–18), youth, adults, and families, with a focus on complex trauma, attachment and dissociation, anxiety and emotional disorders, and behavioural/conduct concerns.
She also brings extensive frontline experience in crisis intervention, first responder support, and child intervention systems, including work related to Voice of the Child processes, separation/divorce, custody and access matters, and family support within government and court-related contexts—always tailoring an eclectic, multi-theoretical approach to each client’s needs and goals.

Dr. Cindy Medeiros-Connors, PsyD integrates holistic and energy-based support alongside her clinical trauma work for clients who want a mind–body–spirit approach to healing. Her holistic practice includes shamanic-based work, somatic and intuitive support, and parts/inner-child focused integration to help clients release emotional burdens, restore nervous-system safety, and reconnect with their sense of self. This work is offered in a grounded, respectful way—centered on consent, client readiness, and personal beliefs—supporting deeper regulation, meaning-making, and transformation.

Holistic sessions may include energy healing and shamanic-based practices such as restoration work and “soul retrieval” style integration, depending on client preference within Beyond the Cycle Trauma and Wellness Clinical Services.
